San Francisco was struggling to move the ball during the first three quarters of their semifinal game against Philadelphia, but they used a 24-point fourth quarter to put away the Eagles and advance to the NFL Championship Game, 27-6. Niners RB Joe Perry ran for two fourth quarter touchdowns to turn a 6-3 deficit into a 17-6 lead. Len Eshmont scored from 24 yards out to put the game away.
The 49ers have a chance at their first NFL Title next Sunday in Cleveland.
