2011 NCAA Quarterfinal-Wisconsin-29, South Carolina-17

Columbia, SC-Wisconsin RB James White spent most of 2011 overshadowed by his superstar backfield mate, Heisman finalist Montee Ball, but in this one he was the star, running for 109 yards and scoring twice in the Badgers 29-17 victory over South Carolina. White scored on a 2-yard run to give Wisconsin a 14-3 first quarter lead, then added a 16-yard TD catch in the third quarter that put the Badgers up by 16. Russell Wilson was once again efficient for Wisconsin, completing 16 of 22 with 2 TD.

South Carolina got 97 yards on the ground from Marcus Lattimore, but struggled to play from behind all afternoon. The (13-2) Badgers advance to the NCAA Semifinals with the victory.
