In a matchup of the two most successful franchises in the THPF, the Browns triumphed in a bruising affair, 6-3. Cleveland FB Ed Modzelewski led the running attack with 94 yards on 18 carries. Alex Webster led New York's offense with 60 yards on 12 carries. Both teams struggled to throw in the steady winds of Municipal Stadium.
Ben Agajanian, the Giants kicker, had two opportunities to tie the game in the second half, but missed both attempts. Cleveland will host next week's NFL Championship.
