1946 NFL Quarterfinal-Los Angeles Dons-24, Chicago Bears-0

December 21, 1946

Weather-24 degrees, 8 mph SSW

Chuck Fenenbock ran for 173 yards and 2 touchdowns, and the Los Angeles defense shutout the Bears and added to their continuing playoff woes, 24-0. The Dons ran for 281 yards as a team, and their grinding attack wore out Chicago. At the same time, Chicago struggled to maintain any kind of sustained ground attack against Los Angeles. The Bears would finish with 127 yards on the ground, but most of those came after the outcome had already been decided.

The victory over Chicago advances the L.A. Dons to the NFL Semifinals.
