1947 NFL Quarterfinal-Chicago Bears-21, Philadelphia Eagles-17

The Bears and Eagles battled in snowy Wrigley Field, with Chicago finally winning their first postseason game in franchise history, 21-17. Both offenses were able to find success. The Eagles were led by perennial All-Pro and future Hall of Famer RB Steve Van Buren, who finished with 112 yards rushing and 2 TD. Chicago was able to throw with consistency, as Sid Luckman finished 20 of 33 for 243 yards and 2 TD. Luckman led the Bears on an 80-yard drive in the fourth quarter to take the lead, hitting Ken Kavanaugh with a 13-yard TD with 1:35 to play. Luckman's performance established new single-season standards for passing attempts and yards passing.

Chicago advances to the NFL Semifinals next Sunday.
