1950 NFL Quarterfinal-Chicago Bears-42, New York Yanks-7

The New York Yanks were a poor defensive team all season long, but managed to score enough points to keep most games competitive and to give the Yanks a winning record. Chicago took advantage of advantages at the line of scrimmage to gain almost 600 yards of offense, including 416 on the ground, to win 42-7 and advance to the semifinals. George Gulyanics led the Bears ground attack with 151 yards rushing and 2 TD. Julie Rykovich added 123 on the ground for Chicago. The Bears used a 21-point second quarter to break the game open.

The Bears opponent in the semifinals has yet to be determined.
