1950 NFL Semifinal-New York Giants-28, Chicago Bears-3

The New York Giants reached the NFL Championship Game next weekend with a 28-3 victory over the Chicago Bears. The Giants outgained Chicago 367-194, using 278 yards on the ground to control the clock and keep the Bears offense off the field. Eddie Price led the ground attack with 168 yards on 16 carries. Gene Roberts and Joe Scott each ran for two touchdowns, as the Giants churned out 6.8 yards per carry. The Bears were unable to generate any offense after an opening drive field goal. Chicago ran for only 93 yards on 37 carries, less than half their season average.

The Giants will host the NFL Championship Game if the Eagles can manage their way past Cleveland in the late game. Otherwise, New York will travel to Cleveland for the championship.
