1957 NFL Semifinal-Cleveland Browns-31, Los Angeles Rams-3

Cleveland will play for a fourth NFL Championship

Tommy O'Connell controlled the ball with precision passing and Chet Hanulak scored on 3 short TD runs as the Browns handled Los Angeles, 31-3. O'Connell completed 11 of 14 passes for 178 yards and a TD, a 19-yard strike to Pete Brewster that gave Cleveland an early 7-0 lead. The Rams had problems maintaining possession as Norm Van Brocklin suffered 2 early interceptions and completed only 14 of 29 for the game.

Cleveland will host the NFL Championship Game next Sunday at Municipal Stadium.
